Use Case · Contact Form
The contact form, built inside
your AI chat.
Small ops teams describe a contact form in Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor, get a live URL back, and read every message by asking their AI. No dashboard to open, no Zapier subscription to maintain.
Why a contact form is harder than it looks
Most teams treat a contact form as a checkbox: drop the embed, point it at an inbox, done. That works until the volume creeps up. Partnership pitches, support questions, press inquiries, and recruiter spam all land in the same place, with no way to tell which deserves the founder's attention and which can wait until Friday.
For a one or two-person ops team, the triage tax adds up. The typical contact-form workflow is two tools and a swivel chair: Typeform or Google Forms collects the message, then someone exports a CSV or eyeballs the responses tab to triage what came in overnight. By the time the partnership pitch surfaces, the sender has already moved on.
Brieform changes the workflow. You already live in your AI chat, and Brieform lets you build the form there, publish it, and read every response in the same thread. The form is one tool. Your AI does the triage.
What changes when the chat is the dashboard
A Brieform contact form lives where you already work. You describe it once in Claude or ChatGPT, get a public URL back, and from then on every action (read responses, filter by topic, tweak a field, change the theme) is something your AI can do without you switching tabs.
How it actually flows
Imagine your inbound message is "Hi, we're a 200-person SaaS looking at form builders for our customer ops team. Can we get pricing?"
- 1
Visitor submits the contact form on your site. Brieform stores the submission and shows your success message
- 2
The next time you open Claude or ChatGPT, you ask: "Show me today's contact form submissions". Your AI calls get_responses and returns them inline
- 3
You ask the AI to filter for Sales-topic messages from companies bigger than 100 people. It returns the partnership pitch first
- 4
You ask the AI to draft a reply using the sender's message, then send it from your own email
- 5
If your AI already has Slack or Notion connected, you ask it to forward the summary there. No extra config in Brieform
- 6
Export CSV from the dashboard whenever you need an archive or want to push the list to your CRM
How to set up a Brieform contact form in 5 minutes
By minute six, your form is live and your AI is reading responses in the same chat you used to build it.
- 1
Connect Brieform to your AI. One OAuth click from /install/claude, /install/chatgpt, or any MCP client
- 2
Say in chat: "Create a contact form with name, email, topic (Sales / Support / Press / Other), and a message field". Brieform calls create_form
- 3
Ask your AI to publish it. It calls publish_form and returns the public /f/[slug] URL
- 4
Embed the form on your site or share the public link in your footer
- 5
From now on, read responses by asking your AI. get_responses returns submissions inline, filterable in natural language
What this replaces
| Tool stack | Cost | What breaks |
|---|---|---|
| Typeform + Zapier + Sheets | ~$54/mo + setup | Zap silently dies, no AI chat interface, field renames break the chain |
| Google Forms + manual review of responses tab | "Free" + 1h/day | No AI chat interface, no conditional logic, partnership pitches buried in spam |
| Brieform | $0 free, $29 Starter | Describe in chat, read responses in your AI, route through your AI |

FAQ
Can I read responses without opening the Brieform dashboard?
Yes. Connect Brieform's MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client and ask your AI to call get_responses. It returns submissions inline in your chat. Filter by topic, date, or any field value in natural language.
Do I need to use an AI client?
No. The Brieform dashboard works on its own. You can build, publish, and review responses there. The MCP server is what makes the workflow chat-native if you already live in Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
What if I want a more elaborate form than just name, email, message?
Say so in chat. Brieform's create_form and update_form tools rebuild the form in seconds. Add a budget field, make it conditional on topic equals Sales, add a dropdown with custom options, split into a multi-step layout.
Is Brieform a fit for my team?
Brieform is built for small teams that already live in an AI chat and want forms to come from the same place. If your day is spent in Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor, every contact form action becomes a tool your AI already knows how to call.
