I'm on the Free plan. Will this work?

ChatGPT Connectors require a paid plan (Plus or above). On the free plan, try Claude instead: it supports Brieform with a free account.

ChatGPT says my connector URL is invalid

Make sure you pasted the full URL including https://. The URL must end with /api/mcp/mcp.

In a new chat, you need to explicitly activate Brieform via + → Developer mode. ChatGPT won't call it automatically.

ChatGPT refreshes OAuth tokens automatically. Persistent disconnects mean you need to remove and re-add the connector.

Enable Developer Mode
Go to Settings (under your avatar) → Apps & Connectors. Scroll to Advanced settings and toggle Developer Mode on. Confirm the warning.

Add a new connector
Back in Apps & Connectors, click Add new connector. Fill in Name: Brieform, MCP Server URL: [paste the URL above], Authentication: OAuth. Check "I trust this application".

Authorize access
Click Create. A Brieform authorization page opens in your browser — log in or sign up (free), then click Allow.
