My client doesn't support Streamable HTTP

Brieform uses Streamable HTTP (the current MCP standard). SSE-only clients may not be compatible. Check your client's changelog for MCP transport support.

OAuth isn't working in my client

Some clients don't support OAuth and require an API key instead. Generate one in your Brieform account settings.

Tools aren't showing up

Make sure the mcpServers key is at the root level of your config file, and that the URL ends with /api/mcp/mcp.

Some clients open a Brieform authorization page on first use. Log in or sign up (free), then click Allow.

Only allow access from apps you trust.
