Perplexity Connectors require a Pro plan or above. Upgrade at perplexity.ai/pro.

The connector fails with an authentication error

Make sure you selected OAuth as the authentication method and that the MCP URL starts with https://. Both are required by Perplexity.

After adding the connector, refresh the Perplexity page. The connector should appear in Sources when composing a prompt.

Open Connectors
Go to perplexity.ai/computer/connectors (or click your profile icon → Computer → Connectors).

Add a custom MCP connector
Click Add custom MCP connector. Enter Name: Brieform and paste the MCP URL as the Server URL.

Choose authentication
Select OAuth as the authentication method. The connector URL must use HTTPS (ours does by default).

Authorize and activate
A Brieform authorization page opens — log in or sign up (free), then click Allow. Once connected, enable Brieform under Sources when composing a prompt.
Authorize access
your-ai-client wants to access your Brieform account.

Stay connected (refresh tokens)
