Use Case · RSVP
RSVPs you read inside
your AI chat.
From a 12-person dinner to a 500-person conference: describe the RSVP form in Claude or ChatGPT, get a live URL back, and ask your AI for headcount, dietary needs, or who's still missing. No Slack bot to maintain.
Why RSVP feels harder than it should
For a long time, RSVP looked like a solved problem. Send a Google Form, watch the Sheet fill up, sort the dietary requirements two days before the event, and email the caterer the count. It works for a dinner of 20. It collapses fast at 100, and it's a real headache at 500.
The breaking points are predictable: someone's plus-one needs to be dietary-tracked separately, the venue needs a final count by Wednesday, your co-organizer wants to know when the headcount crosses 80% so they can release tickets, and the guests who replied "maybe" three weeks ago haven't been chased. The information lives in a Sheet that only one person opens, and the people who need answers spend their day asking the spreadsheet owner instead of working.
Brieform handles the form. Your AI handles the questions.
Brieform builds the RSVP form, publishes a public URL, and stores every submission. From then on, anyone with access to the MCP server can ask Claude or ChatGPT for the headcount, the dietary breakdown, or who hasn't replied yet, without opening a dashboard.
How a Brieform RSVP flows
A workshop with 50 seats:
- 1
You launch the RSVP form by asking Claude or ChatGPT: "Create an RSVP for my workshop with name, email, going/not going, and a 'are you bringing a laptop?' question". Brieform builds it via create_form and publishes it
- 2
You share the public /f/[slug] link in your invite email or embed it on your event page
- 3
Guests submit. Brieform records every response and shows your success message with the venue address
- 4
Three days in you ask Claude: "How many people RSVP'd yes so far, and how many are bringing laptops?". Your AI calls get_responses and answers in the same thread
- 5
When you cross 38 RSVPs, you ask the AI to send the headcount update to #event-ops. If your AI already has Slack connected, this happens in chat
- 6
The day before the workshop you ask the AI for a dietary breakdown so you can brief the caterer
- 7
Day-of, you export the CSV from the Brieform dashboard with names, dietary, and accessibility notes for check-in
How to set up a Brieform RSVP in under 5 minutes
- 1
Connect Brieform to your AI. One OAuth click from /install/claude, /install/chatgpt, or any MCP client
- 2
Say in chat: "Create an RSVP form with name, email, going/not going, plus-one count, and dietary needs". Brieform calls create_form
- 3
Ask your AI to publish it. It calls publish_form and returns the public /f/[slug] URL
- 4
Edit the success message to include the event date, address, and any logistics
- 5
Share the form link or embed it on your event page
- 6
Read RSVPs by asking your AI. get_responses returns submissions inline, countable and filterable in natural language

FAQ
Can I send the RSVP link in an email?
Yes. The public /f/[slug] URL works in any email tool. Brieform doesn't bundle email blasting; pair with whatever you already use (Mailchimp, Resend, or just Gmail merge for small lists).
What if a guest needs to change their RSVP?
They can resubmit using the public form link. Every submission is recorded so you can spot the latest reply when you ask your AI to list RSVPs for that guest.
Does Brieform handle paid tickets?
No payments natively. For paid RSVPs, add a Stripe or Polar hosted checkout link to the form's success message so guests pay after submitting.
Can I read RSVPs without opening the Brieform dashboard?
Yes. Connect Brieform's MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client and ask your AI to call get_responses. It returns RSVPs inline, countable and filterable by dietary need, plus-one count, or any field value in natural language.
Can I use this for a wedding?
Yes. The /templates/wedding-rsvp template includes plus-one fields, dietary needs, and song requests. Both partners can read responses by asking their AI, without sharing a spreadsheet.
